Kent is a great
county for walking and we are here to help you make the
most of it, whether you want to join the led walks organised
by our thirteen Groups or want some inspiring ideas for
walking on your own. Even if you don't want either
of these, we hope you will still join us to support the
vital efforts of our volunteers protecting the footpaths
and working tirelessly to promote the interests of all walkers.
Latest Walking Guide ***

We have a new walking guide, to the Tunbridge
Wells Circular Walk and other walks in the area.
Please take a look.
We are planning a series
of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of the
opening of the Wealdway in September. Read more
Our Groups are gradually restarting their programmes of
led walks now that government guidelines permit walking
in organised groups. Most Groups are restricting
numbers and running booking systems at present.

Meanwhile our volunteers continue to work behind the scenes
to protect your interests. In Kent volunteers are
still scrutinising proposals to close or divert paths,
undertaking detailed research to prevent unrecorded
rights of way from being extinguished in 2026, writing
new walking guides, fulfilling book orders, maintaining the web site, responding
to requests for advice and generally preparing for
better times. We hope you will support this work by
renewing your membership when the time comes or by
becoming a member of the Ramblers. We can't carry
on without you.
