London's Capital Ring Walk

In 2011 the Ramblers Greater London Forum organised the walk on seven consecutive days from 26 September to 2 October 2011.  The sections were as follows:

Woolwich (south side of foot tunnel)  to Grove Park: 10.1 miles

Grove Park Station to Streatham Common Station: 12.4 miles

Streatham Common Station to Wimbledon Park Station: 13.1 miles

Richmond Station to South Greenford Station: 9.5 miles

Greenford Station to Hendon Station: 12.0 miles

Hendon Station to Stoke Newington Station: 10.8 miles

Stoke Newington Station to Woolwich (south side of foot tunnel): 12.2 miles

Walking the Ring in 2011

The Capital Ring Walk is a 78 mile walk linking green spaces, mainly in the inner London boroughs but at Grove Park passing very close to Bromley, which is part of the area covered by Kent Ramblers.
